Remember, energy markets are volatile; prices change every 15 minutes. The prices we present are good for that day. This is not intended to pressure you to make a hasty decision; it’s just a function of how prices can be affected by volatile energy markets.
Generally energy providers offer pricing for multiple terms (12 month, 24 month, 36 month). There are seasonal cycles that impact demand historically, summer electricity demand is high and winter natural gas demand is high. Higher demand equates to higher prices. For this reason we sometimes recommend choosing a term, like 15 months, 9 months, 2 months, etc., that has your contract expiring during the “off season” to take advantage of low-demand prices in your next contract cycle.
4. Agreement Presented for Signature
Choose the energy provider offer (rate at a specified term) that is best for your business, and we’ll arrange to have the documents prepared for your signature the same day. |
5. Fine Print and Hidden Fees
Avion Energy Group evaluates contract documents to make sure there are no hidden fees. Certainly you should read and understand any agreement you sign with an energy provider. If you have special requirements or situations like moving, new building additions, etc. that will take place during the contract term, let us know and we’ll accommodate those situations.
6. Switch to a New Provider
Avion Energy Group knows change can be hard for some people. But changing your energy provider is simple and will not interrupt your service. We notify you when your signed agreement has been accepted by the energy provider you selected.
If it happens to be the same energy provider, you’re all set. The only change you will notice is your new rate on the first bill after your agreed start date.
If you are switching to a different energy provider, the utility company will be notified of the switch in order to schedule a meter reading. The timing of a meter reading varies from one utility company to another. Your scheduled meter reading determines the final usage to be billed by your current energy provider, and establishes the beginning reading for your new energy provider. You will receive your final bill from your current energy provider as usual. Then after the first billing cycle is completed, you will receive your bill from your new energy provider. Or if your bill comes directly from the utility company, it will reflect your new energy provider’s rate.
7. Enjoy Best Pricing
Avion Energy Group values your time. You have more important things to do to run your business. So don’t waste time worrying about your electricity and natural gas rates. Relax - now you’ve got the best price!

8. Again…and again…and again…
Avion Energy Group doesn’t stop working for you after you sign an agreement with one of our energy providers. That is what makes us different! We frequently find businesses that contracted with an energy provider years ago, but failed to lock in a low rate or compare pricing from other energy providers when their original contract expired. Typically, those businesses end up with a default rate that is higher and subject to market volatility. In other words, the months you use more electricity or natural gas, you could be paying the highest rates for the year! WE WON”T LET THAT HAPPEN!
90 days before your contract ends we will start the process all over again. Competition in the market place keeps prices low as long as you allow competition to work. We manage that for you. Our process keeps you in best pricing year after year, for decades to come. |
